Dr. Sparkman was raised in Mulberry, Florida, a phosphate mining community thirty miles east of Tampa. He graduated first in his high school class and later received a BS in Chemical Science from Florida State University. He worked at Rich’s Department Store to help pay his way through Emory Dental School, earning his Doctorate in 1985.
Dr. Sparkman enjoys staying current in the ever-changing field of dentistry and dedicates a substantial number of hours each year to continuing education. He is a regular lecturer at health seminars and supports the PALS Organization (Pets Are Loving Support) which provides assistance to pets of people living with terminal illness. |
